Courier · Patrol · Guard

Everything between the dispatch board and the general ledger.

NSCC Beacon runs courier, patrol and guard operations — and the accounting, payroll and HR that follow from them — in a single console. A delivered trip becomes a receivable. A completed shift becomes payroll time. An incident becomes a claim, not a PDF someone has to re-key.

One console, three service lines

Courier, patrol and guard work share a dispatch board, a scheduling model and a field app — so a supervisor covering all three isn’t switching systems to do it.

Courier — cash‑in‑transit

Route planning with sequenced stops, chain of custody from seal to signature, and proof of delivery captured on the courier’s phone. Personal-vehicle trips are flagged in the field and paid at the stipend rate without anyone filing a form.

Patrol

Scheduled and on-demand site visits, with checklists and inspections tied to the post. Field submissions roll straight into the run record rather than landing in a separate forms inbox.

Guard

Fixed-post coverage with a coverage board and shift scheduling, plus incident reporting that can open a workers‑comp claim directly instead of starting a paper trail.

From the field to the books, without re-keying

The expensive gap in this industry isn’t dispatch and it isn’t accounting — it’s the manual staging between them. Beacon closes it by drafting from field events.

Delivered trips draft receivables

Completed work becomes a draft invoice against the right customer, site, route and department — the job-costing dimensions are already on the trip.

Field hours feed pay

Pay field work pays trips and hours captured in the field. Office pay runs, tax and ACH stay in Payroll where they belong.

Incidents open claims

A guard or courier incident report can open a workers‑comp claim immediately, rather than waiting for someone to notice it and re-enter it.

Depth when you need it, plain language when you don’t

Dispatchers and clerks are not accountants, and Beacon doesn’t ask them to be. Easy mode speaks in outcomes — Create today’s invoices, Pay field work, Approve & post — while Advanced opens the full ledger, tax setup, garnishments, certified payroll, recruiting, I‑9, filings and multi-state regulation handling for the people who live in it.

Modules a given operator will never use can be switched off entirely, so they disappear from navigation rather than sitting there as clutter.

Built to be audited

Protective services work is evidence work. The platform is built on the assumption that someone will eventually ask what happened, and when.

Immutable audit trail

Consequential actions write append-only, hash-chained audit events. The record of what was changed, by whom and when is not editable from inside the application.

Chain of custody

Every cash-in-transit run carries a custody record from seal to signature to reconciliation, tied to the courier who held it at each step.

Role gates on a small team

Segregation of duties is hard when one person bills, approves and pays. Role gates and approval steps make the separation explicit instead of depending on who remembers the policy.

Multi-state people ops

Wage rules, leave, SUI and new-hire reporting differ by jurisdiction. Regulation handling, filings and workers‑comp span the states an operator actually works in.

Portals for both sides

Employees see schedule, pay and documents without calling the office. Customers see their own sites and service history without seeing anyone else’s.

Separate environments

Development, verification, demonstration and production run as isolated deployments. Nothing reaches a live operation as a side effect of testing.

See how it actually works

The illustrated user guide walks every screen — dispatcher console, the courier, patrol and guard apps, schedules, the ledger, and the Accounting, Payroll and HR modules. Five narrated training videos cover the same ground end to end.
